Lakeridge Athletic Club is proud to be a green company and attempts to reduce our carbon footprint with the following measures:
- 489 Photovoltaic Solar panels providing a nearly neutral electricity usage
- 90 rooftop Solar Water Panels to assist in heating our 300,000 gallon, outdoor pool
- Car charging stations provided free of charge to members to encourage electric car use
- A water bottle fill station to avoid using plastic water bottles, which currently saves roughly 25,000 plastic bottles per year
- Low-flow sinks, toilets and showers
- A sustainable, drought-resistant, native landscape
- Recycling bins throughout the club
- Seeking out vendors with similar carbon-reduction goals
